What is the claims system implementation project?

Community Health Plan is changing the way it processes claims. Our new system will impact how you conduct business with the health plan.

By keeping you informed and training you as the new system comes online, we intend to keep this transition as easy for you as possible. The ultimate goals are to make claims processing straightforward and to get patients the care they need.

What is currently happening?

We are in the final stages of testing and we have begun user training.

How will you learn about the new system?

We plan to provide you many opportunities to learn, such as:

  • When you entered your information in the form fields on this web site, you opted in for email updates. These bulletins will send news and information about the system changes directly to your inbox.
  • This web site will become a portal to training and an archived source of information.

These are some of the new procedures we will inform you about:

  • Verifying member eligibility.
  • Accessing member rosters.
  • Checking claims status.
  • Checking status of authorizations and submitting new authorization requests—prior authorizations, hospital admission notifications and referrals.
  • Submitting clinical documents related to authorizations online.
  • How we're handling the transition from the Adaptis system, including Adaptis Connect.
