Introduction to Current e-news
In this ever expanding and challenging health care landscape, we all seek innovative ideas for potential transformative change and better outcome. We want to improve quality of care and reduce cost. That is why we're proud to offer this first edition of Current e-news, a quarterly newsletter for health care professionals brought to you by the Network Quality Division at Community Health Plan of Washington (the Plan).
In Current's first issue, the Plan shares:
- A hypertension control project that works at Sea Mar CHC.
- A useful approach to asthma management achieved by the Plan in collaboration with the King County Asthma Home Project.
- How to connect your patients with Plan case management.
- Insights about fall prevention by subject matter expert Dale Arroyo RRT, BS, CPHQ.
Like the magnified dendrites incorporated in the newsletter's banner, information flow in a healthy system is multidirectional and far reaching. The primary goals of Current e-news are to provide a platform to share best practices, to showcase your best ideas, and to make sure you know about and can connect with services available from the Plan.
By providing and sharing the perspectives and work of individuals and organizations across the health care continuum, Current provides inspiration and ideas we trust will help you optimize the delivery of care and improve the clinical outcomes in your practice and your clinic.
Sincerely,
The Network Quality Division
